Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL-A)
Overview The commercial license is the first license that allows you to work as a pilot in Canada. To get the license, students need a total of at least 200 hours of flying experience, including the hours flown in acquiring previous licenses and ratings. With a commercial license in your pocket and a few more hours of experience, you are ready to move on to the Airline Transport Pilots License (ATPL), which will allow you to work as an airline pilot.
