Candidates may take this medical exam in their own country or in Canada. However, you must see a Transport Canada approved medical examiner. Candidates who undergo their medical exam abroad must anticipate delays of approximately 60 days before receiving their medical certificate. The examination in Canada is less expensive than abroad and delays for receiving the certificate are shorter. Please bear in mind that selecting to pass the medical in Canada does present a certain risk. The exam may reveal a medical problem that prevents you from obtaining the medical certificate resulting in needless travel and expense. To obtain your commercial license, you must pass a Category I medical exam. Accomodations There are no accommodations on the airport site.
