Night Rating

Overview

The Night Rating allows pilot s to stretch the time they are allowed to fly late into the night. This is great for private pilots, who can stretch their day trips into the evening, without having to worry about getting home before dark. It is also a necessary step towards a career in aviation, because airlines don’t stop flying when it gets dark.

• A valid private license or higher qualification.

TRANSPORT CANADA REQUIREMENTS

• In addition to the PPL requirements:
• 5 Hours Instrument Flying
• 5 Hours Dual Night
• 5 Hours Solo Night
